This is the first 7 and a half minutes from a brand new creation-based, family audio adventure series. It's the year 1831. Jimmy's life changes in one night, when he's seen by two men who've lit the family barn on fire. Meanwhile, in modern-day Los Angeles, the Penner Family is battling the day-to-day issues that keep them from living out their faith. Two families from different eras, separated by a ribbon of time; how do their lives intersect?
This amazing theme was composed by Conner Savoca, and our announcer is Frank Montenegro.
As you can hear, the title of the first episode is “New Beginnings”. It is 1831 in England. Jimmy is celebrating his 15th birthday, but this day is about to become his worst. What proves to be a devastating loss actually propels Jimmy into the most exciting chapter of his life. Meanwhile, in modern day Los Angeles, the Penner Family is about to experience their own loss, one that leads them on a journey to deeper faith. For both Jimmy and the Penner Family, it’s a story of New Beginnings!

Hello, I’m Conner Savoca, composer and A/V engineer. I am 17, and have been developing a career in the media production industry for the last 4-5 years. I’ve been blessed to develop a production studio over the years, and equally blessed to have good friends in the business such as Pat Roy!
I am currently one of the composers on Time Chroniclers and have really enjoyed this opportunity as I believe this drama has the great potential of providing an educational tool in a wholesome family entertainment environment. As a composer, it is often my job to create a feeling that drives the emotion of the show. Few people realize what an audio drama or film would be like without the musical element, yet at the same time, few people even realize the music is there. That is the job and the challenge of the composer to design the music in such a way that the show could not survive without it, but that the audience hardly notices it.
My ultimate goal is to contribute my talents to bringing families together and through that, to further the Kingdom of God.
Time Chroniclers Recording Day - August 27, 2016
We're working hard to get our next set of Time Chroniclers ready to go. We'll have the first half of the series recorded, Lord wiling, by the end of August . God is teaching us a lot in this series. We've been blessed by volunteers who are helping us make an impossible task (like producing a broadcast that normally costs $150,000 to produce, with literally no income) possible. From those actors giving their time, producers who have given time, to those who have given money (some of which were our actors), I'll say as the apostle Paul says, "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you."
At the end of the last recording, Pat left on an adventure to revisit Ghost Ranch. Stay tuned for his journey back to where it all started.
Also, if any one would like to get involved in being a part of the series, please contact us on our contact page.
God is on the move!
Exciting news for the new Time Chroniclers audio adventures! Frank Montenegro has agreed to be the official announcer for these new audio dramas. Frank is probably best known in the creation movement as Dr. Kendall Park of the Jonathan Park audio adventures.
We have been working with Frank for over a decade and a half, and he has become a dear friend. Frank is a professional voice-over artist, and will bring excitement to the Time Chroniclers project!
Hey All! Just a note to let you know that Time Chroniclers is underway! Check out this blog for the latest pictures, videos and updates on this new series.
We have just finished writing the scripts for Episodes 1 and 2 and our recording date is April 23rd. Before that time, we need to cast more actors. We're especially interested if you can speak with an English accent. If you're in the Northern California area and enjoy acting, someone's told you have a voice for radio, or you love to read out loud, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
